A new Telework Law, a new challenge for companies.
The provision of services using digital means; i.e., teleworking, has been recently regulated and, as a result, the previous provisions contained in Law No. 30036 and its Regulations, Supreme Decree No. 009-2015-TR have been repealed. Thus, through Law No. 31572, the Peruvian Congress has established new game rules for both employers and the employees who agree to adopt, or are considering the adoption of, this modality.
Even though its respective regulations, which must come into force during the first two weeks of December, have not yet been issued, we would like to share some of the most important regulatory aspects to be considered based on the questions below.
